Heat over medium heat until it reaches a gentle simmer.
Toppings Preparation
Squeeze water from boiled spinach.
Cut spinach into 8 centimeter pieces.
Cut fish cake (kamaboko) into 2.5 centimeter slices.
Cooking and Noodle Assembly
Bring 2 liters of water to boil in a large pot.
Also heat 1 liter of water in a separate pot.
Put soba noodles in the 2 liters of hot water and stir well.
Boil according to package instructions for your noodles.
Rinse noodles under hot water after cooked, then put back in the separately heated hot water (the 1 liter of water).
Drain water from soba in a colander and serve in a donburi bowl.
